In September 2018 the company Makulu Beef (Pty) Ltd was registered with the purpose of two old friends, Lukas Eksteen and Cobus Gouws investing their savings into a Bonsmara Cattle project. Onwards from there and within a short space on time, the company has shown exponential growth. This was achieved by applying their entrepreneur spirit and strategic business management skills.

The efficient operations have also attracted external investment and partnerships, which enabled substantial growth within the farming operations. In 2020 Makulu Beef further expanded and diversified into other sectors such as feed sales, property investment and managed to extend their operations into Botswana.

Makulu Beef seeks to continuously strive for growth, explore strategic opportunities and manage with high efficiency.
